Aidan
Aid began his marine engineering career on the Solent. Starting his training with an apprenticeship for a large engineering company on the Hamble in 1994 & continuing working for the local marine industry for the next 10 years, specialising in Volvo penta, Yanmar & Nanni engines, before moving to Torbay & taking up employment with a Volvo Penta & Yanmar dealership spending the next 8 years working & training as a volvo penta technician, working on the River Dart & Torbay surrounding areas.
In 2010 Aidan left employment & AK Marine Services was born.
Aidan now carries out much of the routine engine service work, rebuilds, fault finding & engine repair work at AKMS.

Warren
Warren grew up in Brixham & began his engineering career in 1993 repairing commercial fishing vessels, later training as a volvo penta technician & also specialising in Mercruiser engines, outboards & petrol engines.
He has a vast experience of working in the marine engineering trade & has travelled & worked in the UK & abroad . Most recently Working for a Volvo Penta dealership in Portugal before returning to Torbay & becoming an active partner in AK Marine Services ltd.
Warren handles our outboard department including servicing & repairs. He also carries out routine engine & drive services & fault diagnosis.
